Owner's Representation
Owner's representation is our flagship service. We embed with our clients' teams as their direct, accountable extension on capital projects. We do not observe from the sideline or wait for direction at every turn, because we know our clients' goals and what boundaries they want us to work within. When we represent an owner, we take ownership of moving the project forward: holding contractors accountable, managing consultants, making the field calls we are authorized to make, and protecting the owner's investment as if it were our own.
Our approach is built on extreme ownership. We ask for the autonomy to run your project, and we deliver on it. That means proactive communication, problems handled before they escalate, and decisions made when they need to be made. Decision-point thresholds are established with you up front so we execute confidently within them.
In an industry where many owner's representatives are hands-off, unwilling to make calls, or quick to say "that's not my responsibility," we believe in a fundamentally different model. We take ownership. We stay accountable. We get the job done.

Project & Construction Management
When owners need rigorous project and construction management without the full embedded owner's representation engagement, Katabatic provides standalone PM and CM services. The same ownership mentality applies: we drive progress rather than just track it.
From planning and procurement through construction and closeout, we provide the systems, oversight, and field presence that keep complex projects moving. Our project managers operate as the central point of accountability for scope, schedule, budget, contractor coordination, and stakeholder communication. Our construction managers serve as the technical authority in the field, ensuring construction quality meets engineering intent.
We have managed projects from remote mining capital programs in the north to multi-billion-dollar transit and aviation infrastructure programs across the Pacific Northwest, including owner-builder and progressive design-build delivery models. The work is the same in every setting: rigorous, accountable, and built around getting the right outcome in the field.

Independent Advisory & Consulting
Some engagements call for outside expertise on a defined deliverable and timeframe rather than long-term embedment. Katabatic provides scoped, independent advisory services for project owners, design teams, and contractors who need a specific problem solved, a specific deliverable produced, or a specific perspective brought to a team that already exists.
Our advisory services include Cost Risk Assessments and Cost & Schedule Risk Assessments performed in accordance with state and federal requirements, independent cost estimates, claims analysis, value engineering, constructability and means-and-methods reviews, stakeholder workshop facilitation, and short-term technical troubleshooting. Engagements range from single-meeting reviews to multi-stage risk programs.

Custom Technology & Project Controls
Project controls are foundational to delivering complex work. Katabatic implements and administers the systems that give owners and project teams real visibility and control: scheduling, cost tracking and forecasting, change management, document control, and reporting. We have stood up project controls across major infrastructure programs, including Primavera P6 schedule management, Procore document control, and integrated cost-and-schedule reporting.
Where off-the-shelf systems fall short, we build custom solutions. Our team develops purpose-built software and workflow tools tailored to specific client needs, from internal project dashboards and document workflows to AI-augmented analysis tools that reduce administrative burden and surface what matters. This is unusual for a firm of our type, and it is intentional: most clients are stuck choosing between expensive enterprise platforms and doing without. We give them a third option.
Every system or tool we deploy exists to support better decisions, faster response, and tighter control where the work happens. Technology for its own sake is not the point. Technology that helps the project move is.
